Letters to the Editor Dec. 24, 2011

Obama, Dems and GOP in Congress embrace fascism

I just love it when out-of-touch politicians try to show everybody how in touch they really are.

I hear Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich gave Mitt Romney a hard time for making a $10,000 bet. It would be totally absurd for a rich guy like Mitt Romney to make a $10 bet with a rich guy like Rick Perry.

Are Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich suggesting that Mitt Romney is too poor to risk anything more than $10 on a bet?

It is also interesting that Rick Perry did not point out that gambling is illegal.

Why would Rick Perry do that when stupid governors like he and Jerry Brown give out free tuition to illegal immigrants?

California is now 49th in the nation when it comes to education. The golden bear is the mascot for California. I think a golden toilet is more appropriate.

It is good to see that Obama and the Democrats and Republicans in Congress have fully embraced fascism.

Congress voted to make it legal for the military to arrest American citizens on American soil. Obama said he will sign it.

I, for one, am all for this fascist turn away from the Constitution. Just ask Germany, Italy and Spain.

The new fast-rail train is way over budget in California. At least Mussolini made the trains run on time.

We need fascism and Obama can give it to us — yes he can!
