Idea a waste of taxpayers’ money
Some people can be fooled all of the time, but I’m not one of them. I have not been misinformed about Police Chief Doug Plack nor have I been misinformed about District Attorney Mike Riese.
There are constitutional laws that were put in place to protect our freedom, liberty and property for a reason: to prevent abuse of warrantless or unjustified searches and seizures. The way I see it, this is a great way to generate money for our public defenders, as well as the District Attorney’s Office.
The con would be tying our courts up with prosecution that would more than likely lose because rights were violated and suppression of evidence would dismiss the case entirely. And even if prosecution wins the case, there is the possibility of the case going to an appellate court and getting overruled.
In any case it is wasted time and effort, as well as taxpayers’ money.
