Napooi Shorty runs down the field for the Del Norte High junior varsity team Friday night against McKinleyville. Del Norte trailed 12-7 at the half. They came back to win the contest 14-12 to improve to 4-0 for the year. Around eight minutes left in the game Chad Bell pounded the ball in from eight yards out for the score. Quarterback Dylan Pease had a three-yard run for a score in the first quarter. Jackson Evans led the Warriors with 87 yards rushing.
