DNHS football awards are moved to next week

The annual Del Norte High Warriors football awards ceremony has been moved to next week. The event was supposed to take place tonight but was moved to Wednesday, Dec. 14, due to scheduling conflicts, Del Norte varsity head football coach Ray Rook said. The ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. at Thunen Gym at the high school. The public is welcome to attend. Both the varsity and junior varsity teams will be honored. The Warrior seniors are to be recognized and awards will be handed out. This includes the coaches, citizenship and Mr. Warrior awards. First team White Star and honorable mention Big 5 Conference honors will also be announced. The Del Norte varsity team finished the year 7-4 overall and the JV team went 7-3. |
