Cody Hoffman of Del Norte High makes his attempt at the high jump at the Eureka Track Meet on Wednesday. He finished third in the event and garnered first in the 100-meter dash. Del Norte competed against schools from the Big 5 and Little 4 conferences. About half of the team participated in the event, head coach Scott Lindsay said, adding many team members had spring break plans. Those who were unable to participate included Bryce Lund, who is out with an injury and pole vaulter Kelsy Hintz, who was out of town. The Warriors had several team members do well at the meet, including Baille McCulloch, who finished in first place in the 200-meter and 400-meter relays. Rachel Cink finished second in the 100-meter hurdles. Rebecca Cink finished first in the discus throw and placed third in the 800-meter run. Taylor Duncan placed first in the 400-meter dash.
