Senior Joel Bruhns of Del Norte High hits the ball in a match against North Coast Prep on Wednesday in Crescent City. Only four matches were played before the rest were called due to rain. Blake Polidore, the No. 1 player for Del Norte downed Gabe Trepanier 6-1, 5-7, 6-3. No. 2 David Standring won against Caleb McIlraith 6-0, 6-1. No. 3 Tyler Pitman of Del Norte won 6-1, 6-3 over Tim McIlraith. Bruhns, the No. 4 seed, defeated Sylven Arevalo 6-1, 6-3. Del Norte is supposed to play Eureka today at home at 3:15 p.m., weather permitting. (The Daily Triplicate/Bryant Anderson).
