Del Norte boys tennis team downs Fortuna 6-3

The Del Norte High boys tennis team earned a 6-3 victory over Fortuna on Saturday at home.

Del Norte improved to 6-2 for the year.

In singles, Warriors No.1 seed Brandon Ford defeated John Gearhart 6-2, 6-3.

In No. 4 singles, Oscar Thao earned a win against Jack Rovai of Fortuna 6-1, 6-1.

In No. 6 singles, Tong Lee was victorious versus Kevin Olsen 6-3, 6-3.

In doubles, Del Norte won all three matches.

Today, Del Norte will be on the road and will face Fortuna again.

On Thursday, they will play Eureka at home and on Friday play Northcoast Prep at home.
