The Warriors won the match 7-2 to go to 8-0 in Humboldt-Del Norte league play. In singles  action, No. 1 Emma Wilson defeated Karina Knapp of Fortuna 6-4, 6-3. No. 2 Rebecca Cink won her match against Niki Green 6-4, 6-3. Jennifer Gustafson of Del Norte lost to Rachel Dvorak 6-7 (5-7), 3-6.No. 4 Lauren Godla of Del Norte fell to Kenna Shapiro 2-6, 2-6, Ashleigh Speaker, the No. 5 player for the Warriors, won her match versus Robin Palmer 4-6, 6-4, 6-2. No. 6 player Rachel Cink defeated Maddy Perry  6-4, 7-5. In doubles matches, Wilson and Rebecca Cink defeated Knap and Green 8-4. Gustafson and Godla defeated Dvorak and Shapiro 8-3. Speaker and Rachel Cink won against  Palmer and Perry 8-2. ‘This was a really tough match, as the girls were fighting the wind and cold as much as the other team,' head coach Jane Rumiano said.Fortuna was much improved since the last time we played them, and theball was in play across the net many more times than in the past.
