Del Norte youth football Mustangs

The Mustangs, the No.1 seed, won the game 18-0 to go to 8-1 for the year and earn the right to play No. 2 seed Ferndale in the Six Rivers Youth Football Conference Championship on Sunday at the Redwood Bowl on the Humboldt State University campus in Arcata. The contest will begin at 2:30 p.m. The Mustangs play in the AAA Division which is made up of 12 and 13 year olds. In the AA Division, the DNYF Mavericks lost to Southern Humboldt 14-6 on Sunday.
