Hoffman a finalist for play of the year award

Former Del Norte Warrior Cody Hoffman has been voted a finalist for the 2011 GEICO Play of the Year.

The Brigham Young University sophomore was one of four weekly finalists for a 46-yard juggling circus catch he made while on his back against Oregon State on Oct. 15.

The voting was done by fans on Facebook.

The winner will be announced on GEICO presents Best of College Football 2011 on CBS on Nov. 25 at 10:30 a.m. PDT.
