Humboldt Roller Derby to host double-header |
Humboldt Roller Derby will have its first double-header home bout of the season Saturday. The Redwood Rollers and Widow Makers will welcome back their fans by taking on two teams from the Bay Area: The Oakland Outlaws and the Berkley Resistance. The bout will be held at Redwood Acres’ Franceschi Hall in Eureka, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the first bout featuring Humboldt’s Widow Makers starting at 6 p.m. The second bout with the Redwood Rollers will begin around 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at humboldtrollerderby.com, The Works in Eureka, and People’s Records in Arcata. Kids 10 and under are always welcome and enter free, with regular admission prices at $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Be sure to get your tickets early, as they tend to sell out well in advance.
