Jaycees girls basketball tournament

Redwood, from Fort Dick, won the game 23-21 and earned the consolation championship in the AA Division by downing Azalea 30-27. Forty teams from throughout the area and Northern California took part. In the C Division, the Redwood B team took the consolation title and St. Joseph of Crescent City placed third.
