There was one upset Sunday during the first round of playoffs for the Del Norte County Women’s Indoor Soccer League. The fifth-ranked Razors narrowly defeated the fourth-ranked Uzzies 2-1. Nail Genies, seeded second, creamed the seventh-seeded Black Widows 10-1. Third-seeded Eye Candy managed a 1-0 victory over the sixth-seeded She-Devils. Gordi Bras, who had a bye last week, face the Razors at 5 p.m. this Sunday, followed by Eye Candy versus Nail Genies at 6 p.m. A third-place bout and the championship game will follow those matches at 7 and 8 p.m. respectively. |
