The Del Norte County Recreation Department teen league concludes its season tonight with league championships.
At 6 p.m. at the Crescent Elk School gym, the lower division teen league tournament championship takes place, with McCarthy School taking on either Lucky 7 Casino or Smith River Rancheria.
At 7:15 p.m., the upper teen division championship has Julindra Recycling facing either Hartwick Developers or Big Wave Barber Shop.
The men's basketball league will have their finals tournament starting next week.
In the men's upper league, Steele Reserve Shoes & Apparel (Team Mojo), is at the top of the standings at 8-0 followed by D.N. Driving School/Pizza King (Hoosiers) at 5-3. In the lower division, CFCU (Chuckers) are at 3-2, while Gladiator/N. Coast Mortgage (Young Stunnas) are at 3-3.
The leading scorers as of April 17 for all seven teams are:
Steele Reserve: Steven Daniels (21.8); Isaiah Nelson (20.6).
Pizza King/D.N. Driving School: Scott Alexander (20); Mike Zeck (15.3).
Smith River Rancheria: Justin Clifton (14-8); Jason Porter; (11.6).
West Coast Floors: Max Perez (23.4); Thomas King (17.8).
Gladiator Athletics: Andy Evanow (24.8); Frankie Cardenas (16.8).
