Sign-ups for Babe Ruth beginning

Sign-ups for Del Norte Babe Ruth Baseball began Tuesday. The sign-ups for Babe Ruth, designed for baseball players from 13 to 15 years old, will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Peterson Park Snack Bar, located at 525 7th Street, rain or shine. The event will take place each day from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Parents must bring a certified copy of their child’s birth certificate. Those who played last year must also sign up but do not need to bring a birth certificate. The player fee is $75 per child. To be eligible you must be between the age of 13 on or before July 31, 2012, and 15 on or before July 31. |
