Sign-ups for youth basketball taking place

Sign-ups for the Del Norte Recreation Department Youth Basketball League have just started. The league is for boys and girls from kindergarten to sixth grade. There will be divisions for boys and girls. The league will begin Saturday, Jan. 7, and continues each Saturday through February. The cost is $30 per child and $40 after Dec. 9. Forms can be found online at www.co.del-norte.ca.us and can be sent to or picked up at the Recreation Department offices located at 981 H St., suite 250, Crescent City, CA 95531. Open registration dates will be Nov. 5, 12, 19 and Dec. 2 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Recreation Department Gym, located at 1005 H St. For more information call the Recreation Department at 464-7237. Sponsors are also being sought for the teams. The cost is $100 per squad. |
