Signups for rec basketball

The Del Norte County Recreation Department’s youth basketball league is now signing up children from age 5 through the sixth grade for league competition. (Boys playing on school district teams are ineligible to participate.)

There will be a co-ed league for 5- and 6-year-olds and boys and girls leagues in the 1st-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade and 5th-6th grade divisions. Every child will play in every game, per league rules.

Cost of participation is $30, and registration will continue through December 7. League play begins January 5 and concludes February 23.

For questions or additional information, call 707-464-7237 or visit the Rec Department offices at 981 H Street, Suite 250, Crescent City.
