Three Warriors to take part in NCS tennis today

The Del Norte High girls tennis team will take part in singles and doubles play at the Northcoast Section Championships today in Fortuna. If it rains, the matches will be held indoors in Eureka. This is the first time in several years the NCS has been played nearby. While the doubles pair of Sam Bausch and Taylor Cleland fell in the Humboldt-Del Norte Conference Championship title game they recently received an at-large berth, head coach Sara Miller said. They will join No. 1 singles player Kathryn Gustafson who recently won the HDN singles title. She enters the NCS having not lost a game or a set this season. |
