Warrior boys soccer team wins at home 3-1

The Del Norte High boys soccer team earned a 3-1 win against South Fork at home on Monday. In their first meeting of the year Del Norte lost 4-2, so head coach David Sanyaolu was pleased to earn a win against them. “I thought my boys played very well today,” he said. “Today we challenged them and fought.” The Warriors struck first on a goal by Juan Chavez, assisted by Brandon Bloyd. Late in the first half, Scott Souza scored on an assist by Jose Ramirez. In the second half, Del Norte scored one more time on a goal by Jose Ramirez, assisted by Jorge Leal. Del Norte is now 4-4-2 for the year. |
