The Warriors closed out the Mt. Shasta Tournament in Mt. Shasta with their third win in three days, defeating Weed, 49-35, on Saturday.
“Winning the championship was a big step for our program,” Del Norte head coach Mike Ernest said. “(The Warriors) are really excited about it.”
Brittany Maready scored 18 points to pace the Warriors, and Emma Card contributed 15 points and a team-high seven rebounds in the victory.
