Phil had a great love for family, friends and food. He loved to cook and entertain. His home was always filled with love and laughter, and his home became known as Hotel Philafornia, a bed and breakfast refuge for friends and family. Vacancies were scarce. Tradition was a very important part of his life. He didn’t know the meaning of the word stranger. If you knew Phil and were called a friend you became a very important part of his life. He had a knack for making you feel you were the most important person in his life. He made a big impact on the lives of many of his friends and family. He was son, brother, nephew, cousin, Dad, friend, lover, boss, teacher and mentor. He was an avid Raider fan and he encouraged most of the family to claim the Raiders as the family’s team. He had many talents and interests, he was accomplished in woodworking, stained glass, restoring Hupmobiles, cooking, tile work, and trips with his friends Tim and Julie Bouslog to America’s great baseball parks. He also became an ordained minister and officiated at the weddings of two family members, Joe and Angie Trezza, and Gia and Scott MacFarlane.
