Get rid of Gitlin to start work on eliminating blight

I have had several disagreements with Safeway’s staff when it parroted the company line to me rather than answering my question straightforwardly. However, I find it to be a rather well-run store, and I have never encountered “blight” in my hundreds of trips to its parking lot.

Few other localities can boast of a greater contribution, and already three of Klamath’s valiant fighting men — Frank Isles Jr., Wayne A. Larson and Floyd Pilgrim — have made the supreme sacrifice.

Many people made ’85 reunion a success

On July 3, the Del Norte High School Class of 1985 held their 30 year class reunion. It was a funfilled evening with lots of laughter, stories and a few tears. The event was a huge success, thanks to many hours of hard work from members of the class.
