Half a dozen noses huddled round the pot as Michael Glore added the first hops to the wort bubbling and steaming at his feet and set the timer for 60 minutes.
As the hops’ pine and citrus notes married the syrupy scent of the barley-infused liquid, the folks gathered around the pot breathed a collective sigh.
“That’s right; I made this,” Glore gloated. “We all did!”
