Gene and Geraldine (Jerri) Davis, formerly of Fort Dick, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Sept. 19 in Vancouver, Wash. The Davises lived on Lower Lake Road in Fort Dick for 33 years.

They were married Sept. 19, 1942, in Huntington Beach while Gene was in the Army/Air Corps. They lived many places during Gene's 30 years with the military, and finally settled in Fort Dick for their retirement years. They moved to Vancouver three years ago to be close to family. For their anniversary, they enjoyed a special day and an evening dinner with family.

They have three children, Judith Hocklander, Cheryl Lauerman, Michael Davis; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Gene and Jerry would enjoy hearing from old friends in the Crescent City and Fort Dick areas. Write them at 5101 N.E. 121st Ave, Space 98, Vancouver, WA 98682.
