EMS responder training offered in August

The Del Norte HRSA County Hospital Bioterrorism Preparedness Project is providing a course to introduce students to the principles every Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responder should understand for effective Multi-Casualty Incident response.

The course is August 11, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Hampton Inn, 100 A Street, and is appropriate for all levels, from new first responders to experienced paramedics, including line responders and company officers and supervisors. Exercises are included to help reinforce lessons taught. There is no charge and eight hours of continuing education units will be provided.
