Free nature programs offered all week long

Redwood National and State Parks hosts free nature programs throughout the region.

Junior rangers can take part in andquot;Betting on Natureandquot; at 10 a.m. today at the Prairie Creek Visitor Center or in andquot;Helping Salmon Surviveandquot; at 3 p.m. at the Mill Creek Campground.

Nature walks at 2 p.m. include andquot;The Redwood Hotelandquot; at the Lady Bird Johnson Grove trail and andquot;The Redwood Forest Familyandquot; at the Simpson-Reed Grove.

Campfire programs at 8:30 p.m. include andquot;Giants of Redwood National and State Parksandquot; at Elk Prairie Campground and andquot;All is Not as it Appears: the Coastal Connectionandquot; at Mill Creek Campground.

On Wednesday, andquot;Tough Guys of the Tidepoolsandquot; starts at the Wilson Creek parking area at 10 a.m.

Junior rangers can take part in andquot;Marvelous Mammalsandquot; at 3 p.m. at the Jedediah Smith Campground.

Nature walks at 2 p.m. include andquot;The Beauty That Comes With Ageandquot; at Lady Bird Johnson Grove and andquot;Treasures of Timeandquot; at the Stout Grove parking lot off Howland Hill Road.

Campfire programs at 8:30 p.m. include andquot;Ravens, Crows and Jaysandquot; at Elk Prairie Campground and andquot;Mammal Mysteriesandquot; at Jedediah Smith Campground.
