In a closed door meeting Tuesday, the Crescent City Harbor District board members will discuss land negotiations for a more than 1-acre parcel that the harbor owns at the corner of Anchor Way and Starfish Way. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. at the harbor district office on Citizens Dock Road.

In public session that starts at 6:30 p.m., the board will consider seeking a legislative review of the process that sets up marine protected areas in California. The board will also consider a request to rent the former dive shop building for a barbecue restaurant.

The board will discuss setting up a redevelopment authority for the harbor and could enact a law to block vehicles from the beach that stretches from the boat basin to city limits.
