Investigations into the deaths of three Crescent City residents remain ongoing as local law enforcement awaits autopsy reports on each one.

Allan Peters, Taryn Taylor and James McElroy all were found dead in Crescent City or rural Del Norte County during the past month.

Peters died in the Del Norte County Jail on Jan. 20 after Crescent City Police Department arrested him for public intoxication.

Taylor was found buried on the Green Diamond Resource Company's property where acquaintances said they placed her body after she died.

McElroy, a former San Quentin State Prison inmate, was found dead in Pacific Terrace Manor mobile home park with stab wounds. His death is under a murder investigation by Crescent City Police.

The causes of death for all three will not be known until law enforcement officials recieve the official autopsy reports with toxicology results.
