Vendors galore at fairgrounds event

The Del Norte Community Health Fair offers a plethora of information on everything related to health.

The county Department of Health and Human Services' Public Health branch organizes the annual event, with the Del Norte Healthcare District being a sponsor.

Admission is free to the Saturday event at the fairgrounds.

There will be more than 30 exhibitors, including the Area 1 Agency

on Aging, Del Norte American Red Cross, Denti-Cal, Prostrate Cancer

Support Group, Tobacco Use Prevention Program and Taking Off Pounds

That's in addition to the usual supporters: DHHS, Sutter Coast

"Anything you can think of related to health, we have information for," she said.
