More than 150 well-wishers attended a retirement party at the Elks Lodge on Saturday night for outgoing Rural Human Services executive director Teri McCune Oostra. She and husband Kees own the Dutch Gardener, which they plan to operate full-time beginning this spring.
McCune Oostra sings and plays the ukelele with the band Three For the Road; and Ron Sandler, RHS chairman, presents McCune Oostra with a certificate.
"I'm really thankful for the support of RHS for the past 26 years," said McCune Oostra. "It's been amazing."
