A woman arrested about two weeks ago on methamphetamine-related charges was again arrested on suspicion of possessing meth Thursday.
Maja R. Nicol, 67, was arrested after authorities executed a search warrant on her residence at 110 Salmon Boulevard in Klamath, said sheriff's Deputy Richard Griffin.
When authorities entered her house, she was exiting the bathroom after likely flushing meth down the toilet, Griffin said.
They were able to confiscate one bag of meth, Griffin said. They also seized two digital scales, two large boxes of unused packaging baggies, $2,000 in cash stuffed in an envelope and other baggies with small amounts of meth, Griffin said.
Nicol had been arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, transportation of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for sale March 27 during a traffic stop of her vehicle, when authorities said they found 4 ounces of meth.
