Twin newborn babies and four adults from Klamath were taken to Sutter Coast Hospital after their vehicle slid about 150 feet down an embankment south of Crescent City on Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Amber Gensaw was driving south on U.S. Highway 101 near Crescent Hill at around 11:15 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to roll down an embankment, said California Highway Patrol Officer Kent Davis.

It took almost two hours to get everyone removed from the vehicle, which was turned over on its passenger side.

Gensaw, 20, and all of the passengers are Klamath residents and were all listed in stable condition at 1:50 p.m. today at Sutter Coast Hospital.

The passengers were 11-day-old twins Requa and Sregon Cedillo, 18-year-old Raphael Cedillo, 16-year-old Lena Gensaw and 48-year-old Margaret Gensaw.
