Authorities are seeking the public's help in finding an "at-risk" missing person who was last seen Monday.

Jennifer Evert was last in communication with her husband, Barry Evert, around 10:30 a.m. Monday. He said when he returned home from work he learned that she left the house with a gun and their 1999 two-door silver Chevrolet Tahoe.

Evert said there were reports that she was seen in the Tahoe in the parking lot of Safeway on Monday at noon.

On Tuesday, Evert said he rallied about a dozen people to help search for her by driving around the county.

On Wednesday, the search continued with the aid of the Sheriff's Office and an aircraft was canvassing U.S. Highway 199 to search for the vehicle.

Jennifer Evert has family in Brookings, Barry Evert said.

She is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 140 pounds with shoulder-length blond hair and brown eyes. It is unknown what she was wearing when she left.

Anyone who sees her or her vehicle should call 911 or the Sheriff's Office at 464-4191.
