Triplicate Staff

Members of Del Norte Youth Wrestling have impressed coaches from around the region at this week's West Kids Regional championships in Pocatello, Idaho, their coach says.

Billy Lewis won in Greco-Roman and took third in both folkstyle and freestyle wrestling.

Bert Taylor, wrestling in the bantam class, won five matches but did not place.

Eddie Hartwick went 2-2 in folkstyle; in freestyle he was one match off from placing.

Aidin King-Taylor has gone 2-2 so far.

King-Taylor and teammate Ta-Tes Boulby also wrestled Friday and will again today. Results from their matches will be available in the Triplicate next week.

The Taylor boys and Lewis will be going on to compete at nationals.

"We did really well," Roger Boulby, Del Norte Youth Wrestling coach, said. "Other coaches have been telling us they're really impressed with our kids, and we're looking forward to the next couple of years."
