Both traffic lanes have been reopened Thursday evening on Highway 197 a mile west of U.S. Highway 101.
The roadway was closed after a loaded semi-truck flipped over at approximately2 p.m., blocking the roadway and scattering lumber products and fuel. No injuries have been reported and no other vehicles were involved, according the the California Highway Patrol.
An environmental health crew was dispatched from Central Point, Ore. to clean up 10 gallons of hydraulic fuel spilled on the roadway. Ten gallons of diesel were also reported spilled on the roadway. Debris and sheets of board were catapulted into the river. There's no word yet on when the road will be cleared.
