Expo seeks more participating groups

Organizers of the first-ever Wild Rivers Coast Conscious Living Expo scheduled May 17andndash;18 is looking for more groups to participate in the weekend of speakers, vendors and inspiration supporting sustainable lifestyle choices.

So far, the all-weekend event at the Del Norte County Fairgrounds will feature local celebrity author and eco-revolutionary Derrick Jensen, presentations from the Smith River Alliance, Del Norte alternative-energy guru Clarke Moore, the Klamazon Delegation, County Supervisor Roger Gitlin, Ron Cole, Dan Schultz of Maitreya Healing Center, Robin Sutherland, Soul Feet, Tedd Ward, Visana Wellness, native artisan co-op Bear Island Designs and other experts in fields from permaculture, herbs, local food and nutrition to constitutional rights and the proposed state of Jefferson.
