Glenn Richardson died Jan. 23, 2008, from Lou Gehrig's Disease at Sutter Coast Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born Sep. 19, 1951.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne (Bonnie) Richardson, of Martinez.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Richardson, of Klamath, father, Gerald Richardson, and wife, Marge, of Martinez; brothers, Richard Youngman and wife Carol of Martinez, Gary Richardson and wife Linda of Fairfield, David Richardson and wife Terri of Pittsburg, sister, Gerry Hess and husband Richard of Prunedale; daughter, Christine Bell and grand daughters Cassandra and Fiona Bell of Crescent City; son, Jeff Richardson and wife Jenny and grandson Glenn Richardson of Martinez.

Glenn was a great provider for his family, working 17 years with hazardous waste before becoming owner/operator of GR Transportation. Seven years later he and his then-wife, Pamela, moved to Klamath. Glenn drove for Wayne Bolman Distributing in Crescent City for 10 years.

Glenn was a diehard Harley-Davison motorcycle rider. An avid fisherman and abalone diver, he spent a lot of time on the Delta and the Klamath River, as well as in the ocean with his brother, son and friends.

A memorial gathering is planned for August and will be announced. Cremation was under the direction of Redwood Memorial Care of Crescent City.
