Marjorie Williams was born on Oct. 16, 1928 in Wynnewood, Okla. She died on Jan. 20, 2008.

She was the eldest of three children of Joe and Gladys Rushing. She raised her family in Southern California. After that, she divided her time between California and Oklahoma.

She especially enjoyed her time spent in Oklahoma, and enjoyed traveling and dancing. She spent time living in the Sacramento area, and the last four years in Crescent City, where she enjoyed the scenic northern coast, and redwoods.

Marjorie was a beautiful person, with a lovely smile, and a kind heart. Her family will miss her every day.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Williams. She is survived by her daughter and husband, Sharon and Vaughn Campbell of Placerville; her daughter and husband, Paula Gayle and Troy Kuykendall, of Crescent City; her daughter Rebecca Rushing-Rued, and her husband, Doug Rued, of Sacramento; her son and wife, Christopher and Diane Williams of Taft; her daughter and husband, Terri and William Rowton of Sacramento. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tamara King, James King, Jody and Hoyt Walker, Troy Ian, and Stephanie Kuykendall, Ben and Lori Kuykendall, Ryan Jones, Sara and Scott Getchel, Anthony Reese, Tiffany Dawn Williams and Aaron Williams.

Marjorie had many great-grandchildren she enjoyed immensely. They are Roxan King, Andrew Walker, Tanner Walker, Troy Ethan Kuykendall, Ian James Kuykendall, Kayden Kendrick, Kalin Kendrick, Elizabeth Kuykendall, Joshua Kuykendall, Rebecca Kuykendall, Makala Kuykendall and Andrew Getchel.

A private memorial was held by the family at The Old Flower Farm Inn, 4150 Auburn Folsom Road in Loomis on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2008 at 1 p.m.

Marjorie's family gives a special thanks to the kind people at Redwood Cove Apartments, and all of her friends who have expressed their kindness.
