Betty Ann Elliot, 74, died Sept. 14, 2007 in Jacksonville, Ore. She was previously a 30-year resident of Gasquet. Betty was born on Jan. 7, 1933 in Roswell, NM. She loved opera and classical music, painting pastels and watercolors, quilting and doll-making.

Betty is survived by her husband, Irving Elliot of Jacksonville; her daughters, Pam Russell of Gasquet, Connie (Bruce) Lufkin of Jacksonville, Nancy (Bill) Pidgeon of Jacksonville, and Nickie (Paul) Vilalobos of Escondido; her brothers and sisters, Al (Lacy) Whitehead, Gene (May) Whitehead, Peggy (Henry) Pick and Betty Lou (Charlie) Sydner; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Al and Lolis Whitehead, and her father Wayne Stinson.

A celebration of life open house will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Oct. 15 at 505 Carriage Lane in Jacksonville.
