Richard Anthony William Combs, 21, died July 3, 2007, in Port Costa.
He was born Oct. 11, 1985, in Woodland, and was a longtime resident of Crescent City.
He served his country as a Marine in Iraq during Operation Enduring Freedom.
He worked for the family business in Port Costa as an electrician.
He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife, Rosie Combs; his father, Clifton Combs; mother and stepfather, Edward and Jena Carver; siblings, Christopher, Robert, and E.J. Combs.
He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Richard Brown III, Elizabeth Brown, Sarah and Walter Brown, Peter Brown, Sammy and Melanie Brown, and David and Bonnie Brown; his nieces and nephews, Tyson, Haleigh, Nathan, Emily, Jordan, Baby Blade, Ricky and Amanda; as well as his grandfather, Richard Brown Jr; his entire Moonlite Electric Crew, and many brothers in heart.
He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Jean Brown and Eleanor Jo Cason; and his grandfathers, Clifton Combs Jr and Rev. Joseph Haygood.
Family and friends are invited to share together the Memorial Service for Richard at 4 p.m. July 15 at Moose Lodge, 1135 Harrold Ave.
