Senior Rachel Cink of the Del Norte High track and field team competes at the Yreka Invitational on Saturday in the 300 low hurdles, and placed first in the event. She also placed second in the 100 high hurdles and third in the shot put. Senior Kelsy Hintz placed first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.2 seconds and in the pole vault with a jump of 11-6 feet. She broke a meet record in Chico on Friday with a jump of 12-7 feet. Senior Bailee McCulloch placed first in the 200-meter dash at 27.5 seconds and second in the 100-meter. Hintz placed second in the 200-meter. The Warriors placed first in the 4x100 relay. Rebecca Cink placed first in the discus with a throw of more than 106 feet and was fourth in the shot put. Zara Gastineau placed fourth in the long jump. Junior Taylor Duncan placed first in the pole vault with a jump of 13-6 feet and was fourth in the 100-meter dash. Junior Joseph Alexandre placed first in the 110 high hurdles with a time of 15.65 seconds and fourth in the pole vault. Tanner Brown placed third in the 400-meter and Michael Worsh placed third in the 300 hurdles and the Warriors were second overall in the boys 4x100 relay.
