Hintz placed first in the event, which featured some of the top girls pole vaulters in the state, finishing with a pole vault of 12 feet. Warrior head coach Scott Lindsay said it's a "great feeling" for Hintz to make the 12 foot mark early in the season and said she's focusing on improving her pole vault heights as the season goes on. Today, junior Taylor Duncan will take part in the boys pole vault, while senior Michael Worsch will compete in the 400 hurdles and senior Rachel Cink will take part in the 400 hurdles.
