Manager Casey Duncan said he was impressed with the performance of his team, especially in the 25-13 win. Everyone hit well," he said. "I was pretty happy how we played." On Saturday, Layton O'Reilley, Hegelmeyer, Michael Young, Nate Bruder and Barrett McClaflin all went 2-for-4 from the plate. Against Eureka, Young went 4-for-4 with two doubles, two triples and two walks. Bruder went 4-for-5 with three RBIs. Higgerson went 3-for-5 with four RBIs and Greg Kirby went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases.The team is seeking donations to help pay for traveling expenses to go to Galt.
