The Del Norte High boys tennis team blasted its way to a convincing 8-1 win against St. Bernard's on the road on Saturday.

The win improves the Warriors season record to 3-3. The Crusaders fell to 1-5.

In the first match, Blake Polidore handled Duncan Kahacho 6-2, 6-2.

In the second match, Ben Tell of Del Norte defeated Brad Gill of the Crusaders 6-2, 6-1.

Tyler Pitman won his match against Jay Choi 6-2, 6-3.

Warrior Chad Richins got the victory with a 6-2, 6-3 win against Nic Vanden Akker.

Joel Bruhns of Del Norte was victorious over Dae Kim, posting a 6-0, 6-4 win.

Alex Choy of the Warriors lost to Taylor Sulladay 5-7, 6-4, 6-3.

In doubles play, Polidore and Tell won against Kahacho and Gill 6-4, 6-0.

Pitman and Richins notched the doubles win against Choi and Yanden Akker 6-3, 6-3.

Bruhns and Choy won against Kim and Sulladay 8-3.

The Warriors play today at Fortuna, weather permitting, at 3:15 p.m. The team will be at home against Big Lagoon at 3:15 p.m. Thursday.
