The Warrior boys tennis team squared off against St. Bernard's during an away match last Thursday, but the results are still up in the air.

Darkness fell on the doubles teams as they duked it out in an unfinished 7-7 match, leaving the overall competition at a 4-4 tie.

Daylight savings time could come in handy next time the Warriors are poised for a win - the score will be settled next time St. Bernard's comes to Del Norte, coach Sara Miller said.

"Blair Westbrook is our number two player this year. He's really

grown in the last year. I think he's playing exceptionally well," she

Westbrook beat Jeffrey Zhou over three sets, 6-2; 4-6; 6-1.

Other individual results follow, with Del Norte players listed first:

Thomas Thao vs. Sam Yang, 3-6; 2-6

Blair Westbrook vs. Jeffrey Zhou. 6-2; 4-6; 6-1.

3. Richard Thao vs. Fleming Chen. 6-4; 2-6; 1-6

4. Sher Lee vs. David Lee. 6-0; 6-0

5. Jack Chen vs. Leo Yang. 6-2; 4-6; 3-6

6. Young Chang vs. Elvis Tran. 6-1; 6-1

Saturday's scheduled match against Northcoast Prep was cancelled due to rain.
