Children are learning new soccer skills this week in Crescent City at the U.K. International Soccer Camp. Players from the United Kingdom, many who have played professional soccer, are traveling the United States for the camps. The camp here began on Monday and runs through Friday at Beachfront Park. Kids from 4 to 16 years old are participating. Camp director Chris Davies said it's a way to spread the sport of soccer in the United States and to help develop soccer skills here. ‘It's something they (kids) can all play and enjoy,' he said. Camps were recently held in San Francisco and the group will be in the Los Angeles area next week. (Top) Anthony Slaton, 5, works on his soccer skills at the camp on Wednesday.
