Letters: Woman involved in local bike accident appreciates help

July 18, 2007 11:00 pm

On Wednesday, June 20, 2007, I was in a motorcycle accident just south of Crescent City. I am writing to say thank you to all of the wonderful people who were so kind and helpful to us while we were there. I would especially like to thank Rich Mossholder who pretty much saved my life with his heroic act. Rich, you are my angel. Thanks also to Edward Borders at American Towing, the folks at UHaul who kindly let us store our bikes with them so we could finish our trip to San Francisco, Sutter Coast Hospital, Officer Stice of the California Highway Patrol, all the emergency personnel on the scene, especially the woman who took the photos for us, Express Auto Rental, Crescent Beach Motel, and the Lighthouse Inn. You are wonderful people in a lovely city and we hope to be riding through again soon.
