Standring, Ashby marryin Montevideo, Uruguay

April Anita Ashby of Mesa, Ariz. and James Carver Standring of Crescent City were married May 22 at the Montevideo, Uruguay, Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Uruguay Temple President Gay-lon Hopkins performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Fred-erick H. and Julie Farnsworth Ashby of Montevideo, Uruguay. Ashby is presently President of Mormon missionaries for Uruguay.

The groom is the son of James and Lori Carver Standring of Cres-cent City, where James Standring maintains a dental practice.

The bride graduated from Mesa High School in 2001 and currently attends Brigham Young University, where she studies Human Develop-ment.

The groom graduated from Del Norte High School in 2001 and is currently studying Business and Pre-dentistry at Brigham Young Univer-sity.

The couple honeymooned in Costa Rica, and will make their home in Provo, Utah, as they continue their educations.

An open house for the couple will be held 6:30-8:30 June 30 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Cultural Hall, 10th and A streets, in Crescent City.
