Obituary: Walter "Wally" Lee Scott(1938-2007)

Walter "Wally" Lee Scott died at his home June 3, 2007, of natural causes at the age of 68.

He was born Dec. 28, 1938. to Leo and Dulcie (Walker) in West Orange.

He spent the last seven years of his life in Crescent City, but was employed at various lumber mills as a forklift driver for 20 years.

He married Dawn Rose Richie in Reno, Nev., on Nov. 27, 1987. Their son, Robbie Lee (Ronholdt) Scott continues to live in Reno.

Scott had many hobbies and interests. Among his favorites were fishing, woodworking and different crafts.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn, of Crescent City; his sons, Robbie Lee (Ronholdt) Scott of Reno, Nev.; the Ronholdt family of Nevada; Ray Gevas of McKinleyville; Kevin Gevas Of Crescent City; and Louis Gevas (Tammy) of Klamath; his brother, Gregg Scott (Penny) of Acampo.

He also leaves a sister, Susan Lamberger (Curt) of San Jose.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo, his mother, Dulcie and his brother, Douglas.

His family plans a memorial at a later date.
