Flotilla commander completes course

Vice Flotilla Commander of the Crescent City branch of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Charles Kresa recently returned from a highly specialized technical school provided by Honda Motor Corp.

The one week class he took in Stockton was about the 225 horse power marine engine. He is now fully trained to maintain the two engines on the Coast Guards rescue boat, the 851.

Kresa will receive a Certifi-cate of Completion for his work.

Thom and Helen O'Connor, both FlotillaStaff Officersand Division Staff Officers, also attended three-day district training in Sacramento.
